Where is the Durango Drive-In? Durango Drive-In is located at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Parking Lot: 209 W. College Drive, Durango, CO, 81301

All tickets must be purchased online in advance

Your ticket is only valid for the day and time listed

When you arrive please have your receipt brought up on your phone, or a printed copy, ready for contactless scanning

All tickets to Durango Drive-In admission include 1 vehicle up to 6 passengers or 2 motorcycles up to 4 passengers and a Movie Snack Pack distributed to each vehicle or pair of motorcycles upon entry. Movie Snack Pack includes: A bag of popcorn, theatre size box of Peanut Butter M&M’s, 7oz Twizzlers, and two 20oz Coke products (choice of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dasani upon availability). Additional snacks will be available for purchase online or cashless payment on-site including candy, popcon, snacks, drinks and more.

Speed limit is 5 miles per hour

Executive Order D 2020 138 is a mandatory statewide mask order that goes into effect at midnight on July 16, 2020, and will be in effect for 30 days. It may be extended.

Maximum of six people from within the same household per vehicle to avoid spread of COVID-19

Only one vehicle or two motorcycles per space. Vehicles will be spaced out for a minimum of six feet distance

Large trucks and SUVs will be parked on the sides or at the back of the parking lot so as not to block the view of other movie goers

You may sit directly in front of or behind your vehicle, depending on how you’re parked

You are not allowed to socialize between vehicles or in groups

Restrooms will be available but are extremely limited. Please be prepared and plan ahead. We ask that only two people per group leave to visit at a time. Please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines

Headlights and interior lights must be turned off during the show

Stay at home if you or anyone in your household has any symptoms such as fever, coughing, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle pain, new loss of taste or smell, and chills.

Do you still show movies in the rain? Yes. We will show movies in ALL weather conditions.

When are you open? We are open four weekends beginning August 27, 2020 and ending September 20, 2020. Our weekend only schedule means we are open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

What time does the gate open? We will open the entrance gate at 7:00 pm

What time does the movie start? Movies will start at 8:00 pm

Can I bring my dog? No pets are allowed with the exception of service animals

What can I bring with me? Binoculars, face coverings, hand sanitizer in plastic containers, cell phones, small digital cameras, sunscreen in plastic containers, clear bags and small purses, ADA equipment, low-back beach or lawn chairs, outside food and nonalcoholic beverages

What must I leave at home? Musical instruments, pets (with the exception of service animals), glass containers, outside alcohol, weapons and firearms of any kind, umbrellas, pop-up tents / EZ Ups, hoola hoops, drugs and drug paraphernalia, professional photography equipment, professional video cameras and/or audio recording devices, any powdered substances

If I can’t make it to the show I purchased a ticket for can I exchange it for another day? No. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable

Should I bring my own battery-operated radio or just use the one in the car? If you are concerned that your car battery will run down, please bring a battery powered, portable FM radio. Apps on phones do not work unless it has a built in FM antenna.

How many movies do I get to watch with my admission? All admissions are for 1 movie per scheduled time. If we are hosting a special Double Feature you must pay for both Features.

Do I have to stay for the entire movie? No, you may leave as you please. However, If you leave the grounds and then plan to come back in, you will be required to pay for another admission ticket.

How much is it to get in? General Admission: $39.95. How do we get sound to hear the movies? Tune-In to the designated FM channel so you can hear the audio through your vehicle or motorcycle stereo.

Can I bring my own food? Yes, bringing in your own food is allowed! We will also have food available for purchase online that will be delivered to your vehicle or motorcycle.

What kind of chairs can I bring? Low-back beach, camp chairs or lawn chairs

Can I bring a camper or RV to the Durango Drive-In? No.

Can I bring a limo to the Durango Drive-In? No.

Can I bring a 12 or 15 Passenger Van to the Durango Drive-In? No.

If I have a mini-van or SUV, am I allowed to back in and open my hatch? Yes, however Colorado currently requires that you wear a mask if you are medically able to if you plan to sit in the bed of a truck or have your hatch open.

My car does not have FM radio stations, what can I use to hear the movie? You can bring a portable stereo and get sound that way. All movie audio is fed through a digital high definition FM transmitter.

Can I leave the theater to get food/etc? No. If you leave the grounds and plan to re-enter you will be required to purchase another admission ticket.

Can I purchase tickets before the movie? Yes, tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Is alcohol allowed? No.

Can I smoke? NO, smoking is not permitted on the property. If you are observed smoking you will be asked to leave without a refund.
